Meet our adorable anteaters. We love the Armadillo and Giant Anteater as much as we do our mysterious sloths. This art print will look great together with our Jamboree and Margot’s Dream art prints.
Some facts: Anteaters have no teeth. The giant anteater can reach eight feet long. Their tongues start at the their breast bone and can extend up to two feet long. The closest relative to the giant anteater is the pigmy sloth. Armadillo is a Spanish word meaning “little armored one” They are the only living mammals that wear such shells. They can sleep up to 16 hours per day. Armadillos have very poor eyesight, and utilize their keen sense of smell to hunt.
